In this era, where physical fitness is given a top priority, we at Manjunatha College of Physiotherapy, endeavor to impart high quality Physiotherapy education with a view to create a world – class Physiotherapist which stands committed to add to the existing goodwill of its name and bring glory to the Country. We have highly qualified and committed core faculty supplemented by visiting faculty from various health sectors.
As a Principal, under the leadership of a great visionary and guidance of our beloved Hon’ble secretary Mr. Basavaraj Ramnal, it is important for me to continue with the college’s efforts to expand and improve the quality of education for all students. ABOUT

Manjunatha College of Physiotherapy was established in the year 2019 with a yearly intake of 40 students and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and permitted by Government of Karnataka. Apart from imparting quality education and clinical training, we encourage our students to participate in paper presentations, sports, literature and cultural activities to enrich their mind, body and soul. We often do community services to the mankind. This profession moulds an individual to be a skillful physiotherapist with an in-depth knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat, to maintain health for all ages. The course will provide students with a variety of innovative learning experiences that reflects current and emerging practices in physiotherapy education. The course will provide students with the skills to acquire, interpret, and apply the best available evidence in the provision of physiotherapy services.

COURSE OUTCOMES

The course will provide students with a variety of innovative learning experiences that reflect current and emerging practices in physiotherapy and education.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligibility – PU Examination – Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (General category not less than 40% & for SC/ST/Category-1not less than 35%)
BPT COURSE CURRICULUM
Course Duration – 4 and 1/2 years
Attendance – The students should maintain 80% of attendance in Theory & Practical Separately.
Internship – 26 Weeks (6 Months). No candidate shall be awarded degree certificate without successfully completing six months of Internship in rotational posting. The student must maintain a logbook.
